In just over a year, the real estate market has exploded with the birth of product lines that come with hot mineral amenities. This utility is mainly associated with the resort product line, with a strong presence in the health care trend since the Covid-19 pandemic.
In the past 2 years, in addition to independent exploitation and development, hot minerals have also been included in resort real estate projects as a utility to attract customers. One of the first hot mineral real estate projects to appear in the North is Sungroup's Sun Villas Onsen Quang Hanh villa in Quang Hanh ward (Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh). With a scale of more than 1000 hectares, the project includes a variety of real estate types such as quadruple villas, duplexes, singles, and commercial shophouses. Notably, each villa is designed with a hot bath, plunge pool and jacuzzi with a hot mineral source piped into each house for the owner to use the hot minerals in private space.

Next, the hot mineral resort product line began to explode in many other provinces and cities across the country. The hot mineral element associated with therapy and health promotion is included in the product and exploited by investors to promote the product.
Founder of Ecopark - investor of the green city Ecopark made its mark on the domestic and international real estate market with special product lines, creating new trends in the market, including two value towers. The Landmark belongs to the Swanlake Residences hot mineral complex, 14km from Hoan Kiem Lake.
The Landmark was developed according to the hot mineral therapy model at home. Accordingly, in this project, the founder of Ecopark brought hot minerals into the apartment, combined with an infrared sauna to create a perfect hot mineral treatment. Up to now, these are the few projects in Vietnam that bring Detox & Onsen technology into each apartment.

The difference and pioneering in the way of making products of the founder of Ecopark attracted the world market because then a series of international press reported about the high-rise hot mineral complex appearing in Vietnam. Currently, two The Landmark towers have been handed over and welcomed residents to live, take care of their health, beauty, and treatment in the space of an urban area of 1 million trees.
Onsen hot mineral villas - the choice trend of the upper class
Statistics show that the average life expectancy of Japanese women is 87,45 years and that of men is 81,41 years. In 2020, for the first time, the number of people aged 100 and over in this country exceeded 80.000, of which women accounted for more than 88%.
According to DW , Professor Shinya Hayasaka of Tokyo City University (Japan) has been researching the health benefits of bathing or relaxing in natural hot springs ("onsen") for over 20 years.
According to him, there are 3 benefits of regular hot mineral baths. The first is increased body temperature. Soaking in hot water causes the arteries to relax and dilate, thereby promoting circulation.
“Blood carries oxygen and nutrients to all the cells in your body and carries away carbon dioxide and other waste products. It is this promotion of circulation that brings a feeling of recovery when you soak in the bath,” said Professor Hayasaka.
Heat also has a pain-relieving effect, reducing nerve sensitivity, which can help relieve back pain, stiff shoulders and other types of aches and pains. Heat also softens the collagen-rich ligaments that surround joints, making them more supple, reducing joint pain.
Second, research shows that soaking in a bath can help you sleep well. The reason is that the buoyancy of the body when in water helps reduce muscle tension, allowing the muscles to relax.
Third, according to experts, when you soak in the bathtub, water surrounds your body, creating hydrostatic pressure on every part of your body. This is especially beneficial for the legs and lower body, helping to reduce swelling.
Professor Hayasaka once conducted a study with researchers at Chiba University on the health benefits of hot mineral baths with the participation of 14.000 elderly people over 3 years.
The results showed that the rate of needing nursing care among people who took hot mineral baths every day was 30% less than those who took baths twice a week or less.
Another study also showed that the risk of diseases such as stroke and heart attack is nearly 30% lower in people who take hot mineral baths every day. The study tracked the health of 30.000 people for 20 years. Specifically, heat helps reduce blood pressure and improve vascular endothelial function.
Professor Hayasaka added that soaking in hot minerals can also improve blood flow in the brain, reducing the possibility of dementia.
Agreeing with the above research results, Michael A. Persky, an ear, nose and throat specialist in Los Angeles (USA), said: "The increase in peripheral circulation and stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system is wonderful." for the health of our vascular and nervous systems.
In addition, heat helps relieve pain in joints, tendons, ligaments, and muscles, helping to reduce stiffness. Soaking in warm water helps soothe both body and mind.
Dr. Jenelle Kim, founder of JBK Health Care Laboratory (San Diego, USA), also said that soaking in hot water, especially herbal soaks, helps improve blood and gas circulation. This may be one of the most powerful treatments for the mind and body.
"The skin is our largest organ, when soaking in a warm bath, all pores will open and be ready to receive and absorb properties such as herbs mixed into the water," Dr. Kim said.

Minerals naturally present in hot springs such as magnesium, calcium, sodium, sulfates... can act as a powerful home treatment to soothe the mind, muscles, joints, and improve digestion.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tho Tuyen, Chairman of BHS Group, since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, posing many challenges to human health, the trend of wellness tourism, such as Onsen villas , has become increasingly popular in Vietnam. Resort real estate products pursuing the wellness model are well-received by the market and are becoming a new direction in the resort real estate market. This trend is predicted to continue dominating the market in the coming time.
With the Ecovillage Saigon River project (east of Saigon, 18km from Notre Dame Cathedral), the founder of Ecopark hopes to create the first Blue Zones in Vietnam, and the sixth Blue Zones in the world.
Onsen Village was developed by the founder of Ecopark in cooperation with Raymond Group. Raymond is Japan's oldest hot mineral design and operation corporation, with a history of more than 100 years. Raymond has designed and operated hundreds of hot mineral complexes around the world, including many famous hot mineral complexes in Japan, Korea,...
A representative from Raymond stated that they have applied the Japanese Onsen Law, which stipulates that hot water, mineral water, steam, and other gases rising from the ground must have a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius or higher, and contain a certain amount of minerals, including 19 specific criteria. These 19 criteria will be present in the hot mineral water at Ecovillage Saigon's Onsen Village.

For the above reason, since its launch at the end of 2023 until the launch of these last hot mineral villas, the Onsen Village subdivision has never cooled in interest in the market.
Onsen Village hot mineral villa is located in a prime location of Ecovillage Saigon River adjacent to All Blue square with 20 amenities just by a landscape bridge. Onsen Village is adjacent to the 3.700m2 Clubhouse Resort and the 5.500m2 Onsen Clubhouse hot mineral treatment complex.

Within a radius of 500m, visitors or residents of Onsen Village also have easy access to the marina, Six Senses park... to experience life amidst many layers of nature, a land styled with the Blue Zones of Vietnam, with density of 170 trees/person.
